Accept card payments in WooCommerce through the cPay hosted 3D Secure payment page, with optional installments.

== Description ==

This plugin connects your WooCommerce store to the cPay payment platform
operated by CaSys, used by banks in North Macedonia, so you can accept Visa and
Mastercard payments online.

The customer is sent to the bank's own secure payment page to enter their card
details and complete 3D Secure authentication, then returned to your store.
Card numbers are never entered on or stored by your site, which keeps your shop
out of the strictest PCI DSS scope.

**Features**

* Card payments through the cPay hosted 3D Secure page
* Signed requests and verified responses (HMAC checksum)
* Works with both the classic checkout and the WooCommerce block checkout
* Optional installments, with a configurable minimum order amount
* Optional currency conversion rate for stores that do not price in denars
* Sends cardholder billing details for better 3D Secure 2 approval rates
* Order notes recording the bank's response, and an optional debug log
* Compatible with High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS)

**What you need**

A signed e-commerce agreement with a bank that uses the cPay platform. The bank
provides your Merchant ID, merchant name and checksum key, which you enter in
the plugin settings.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments and enable **cPay**.
3. Open the gateway settings and enter the Merchant ID, merchant name and
   checksum key supplied by your bank.
4. Place a test order to confirm the flow before going live.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need an agreement with a bank? =

Yes. This plugin is the technical connection to the cPay platform; the merchant
account itself is arranged with your bank.

= Are card details entered on my website? =

No. The customer is redirected to the bank's secure payment page, so card data
never reaches your server.

= Does it support 3D Secure? =

Yes. 3D Secure authentication is performed by the bank on its own payment page.

= Does it work with the block checkout? =

Yes, both the classic checkout and the newer block checkout are supported.

= Can customers pay in installments? =

Yes, if your bank agreement includes installments. You can enable them in the
settings and set which installment counts are offered.

== Trademarks ==

cPay and CaSys are trademarks of their respective owners. This plugin is developed by Arkahost and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CaSys or any bank. The names are used only to describe which payment platform the plugin connects to.

== External services ==

This plugin connects to the cPay payment platform operated by CaSys
(https://www.cpay.com.mk) in order to process card payments. This connection is
required for the plugin to work.

When a customer chooses this payment method and confirms the order, they are
redirected to the cPay payment page, and the following order data is sent to
cPay: the payment amount and currency, your merchant identifier, an order
reference, and — if you enable the billing option in the settings — the
cardholder's name, e-mail address, telephone number and billing address. This
data is sent so the bank can process the payment and perform 3D Secure
authentication. When the payment finishes, cPay sends the result back to your
store.

No data is sent to cPay until a customer actively places an order using this
payment method.
